Hey there, welcome to my SGT Virtual 5K fundraising page!

As many of you know, my little sister, Emily, has been participating in Special Gifts Theatre for many years now and it has had such a amazing impact on her life! If you don't know about this awesome organization, their mission is "to foster self-confidence, social, speech and language skills in individuals with disabilities, using educational and therapeutic techniques with the stage as the platform, integrating creativity and fun." This year, SGT decided to do their annual 5K a little differently. Due to the current environment, the 5K has been moved to a virtual 5K and you can participate in it anytime and anywhere between Sunday, October 4th through Sunday, October 18th! And the BEST part is that you don't have to do a typical 5K run, you can do this 5K YOUR way! So if you want to dance, then dance! If you want to bike, swim, hula hoop, golf, roller blade, or any other cardio you can think of? YOU DO YOU!

This year's annual 5k fundraiser is both virtual and adaptable....meaning you can participate on your schedule with an activity that suits you!

Run, walk, dance, swim, golf, hike, hop, skip, swing, bike, paddle, sail, roll, scoot - you can even hula hoop if you choose!

 

WHEN:      

October 1-18, 2020 - pick a day - pick a time that is most convenient to you.**

WHERE:     

Anywhere you choose (yes, really! - you choose!)

Will You SUPPORT Special Gifts Theatre By Signing Up TODAY To Be A Fundraiser For This Year's SGT 5k.....Your Way?

►First, register as a fundraiser HERE.  As a fundraiser, you will receive an exclusive SGT face mask, an electronic race bib, and much more!

 

►Next, donate $30.00 to activate your fundraising page by clicking HERE. **A minimum $30.00 donation is required to activate your page.**

 

►Start raising funds --- let all your friends and family know what you are doing to support SGT!

 

►Between October 1-18, do the 5k....Your Way! You can even do it spread out on more than one day if you want! Our pre-event video will be shared on October 1st and don't forget to join us for our finisher's celebration party on Friday, October 30th!

 

►Post your selfies, videos, pictures on your social media and tag SGT or email them to us  HERE and we will share them to our social media!
